1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using moveIQ (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

moveIQ is an online platform for learning and playing international draughts. The Service includes structured curriculum modules, interactive puzzles, game play features, coach marketplace, AI-assisted analysis, and community features. Some features require a paid subscription.

3. Accounts & Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information.
  • Keep your password secure and confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 16 require verifiable parental consent.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

moveIQ offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed via Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refund Policy

You may request a refund within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not substantially used the premium features. Refund requests must be submitted to support@playdraughts.org.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display it in connection with the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Cheat, use external assistance, or manipulate games (see also our Fair Play Policy).
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without prior written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of moveIQ and its licensors. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, moveIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
